This practice includes inversions (Plow, Shoulder Stand), so should be done on an empty stomach and only if the following conditions do not apply: pregnancy, first 3 days of a menstrual period, upper back or neck injury, infection or condition of the eyes, nose or ears, un-medicated high blood pressure.
